On 27 November, 2020, JURIDICE MOLDOVA will be hosting a LIVE broadcast with the first edition of a new JMD project – ProTalk.
The first two speakers are Dr. Rémy Gerbay and av. Serghei Covali.
Dr. Rémy Gerbay and av. Serghei Covali are lawyers specialized in international arbitration.
Dr. Gerbay is a partner at the US law firm – Molo Lamken LLP. This is a litigation boutique focused exclusively on representing clients in complex disputes. They have offices in New York, Chicago and Washington, DC.
Dr. Gerbay holds a (permanent) academic appointment at the University of London (Queen Mary), where he is the director of the LL.M. program in arbitration. A former Deputy Registrar of the LCIA, Dr. Gerbay is the author of leading treatises on LCIA arbitration and on arbitral institutions. He was appointed by the ICC Secretariat to the editorial board of the “ICC Dispute Resolution Bulletin,” on which he currently serves.
Av. Serghei Covali is one of the most appreciated lawyers in Moldova that practices international arbitration. He actively promotes it among the local legal and business community.
The topic of their discussion will be focusing on the practice of international arbitration, the future of this field of law, and on how to become a true and dedicated practitioner of international arbitration.
